Hey,
Here are 3 questions to reflect on your leadership style — are you empowering, or controlling?
- Are the only decisions you make the decisions only you can make?
- Are your team creating ideas or are the the only one almost, ‘if I don’t do it it won’t get done?’
- Do you trust your team & leaders to deliver?
Lets dig into them:
- Are the only decisions you make the ones only you can make?
If you’re making every decision, how will your team ever learn, grow, or gain confidence? Is that really the best use of your time? Leaders grow people, not just give instructions. Committed, engaged teams thrive — micromanaged teams disengage. - Are your team generating ideas, or are you thinking, “If I don’t do it, it won’t get done”?
Encourage creativity. Be confident enough to let your team try — even if they fail. That’s not recklessness, it’s leadership. Failure with support leads to solutions, innovation, and growth. - Do you trust your team and leaders to deliver?
Trust is the thread that connects the first two points. Empowered people drive results. Yes, they might stumble. But that’s how they (and you) learn what works. Great leaders don’t just delegate tasks — they develop people. And if someone can’t grow even with support, then you either lead them better… or you find someone who fits.
Let me be clear:
Nothing truly grows in a control & command environment.
If you want real results, sustainable success, and a thriving culture — empowerment is the only way.
Reflect. Empower. Lead differently. It’s a game-changer. I promise.
